Marty Invoice Auditor

A free ChatGPT app for reviewing supplier invoices: ChatGPT reads the invoice you attach, you confirm the exact rows, and Marty compares those rows with agreed prices and price history you supply and updates credit records that you keep. It is separate from Marty’s paid products and services. Lavu, Inc. is the responsible entity; Marty is a product, not a separate legal entity.

ChatGPT reads, you confirm, Marty compares.

Everything the auditor uses is supplied in the current request. It does not retrieve earlier requests or maintain saved workspaces, and ChatGPT conversation memory is not Marty storage.

Optional sourceRef values, event references and deadline sources can identify your supporting records, such as a credit memo number or delivery note. They are user-supplied text references, not independently verified evidence. The ChatGPT app takes no files: it does not open attachments or links, or fetch referenced resources.

A proof reference already in a credit record you supply identifies a file only by its SHA-256 fingerprint, type and size. Marty does not receive, inspect or verify that file.

The auditor has no login or payment flow of its own. It does not connect to supplier systems, portals or inboxes, and it does not contact suppliers. ChatGPT access is governed separately by OpenAI.

Not independently verified. The rows Marty compares are ChatGPT’s reading of your file as you confirmed it. Marty does not check them against the original invoice, so a result is only as accurate as the rows you confirm.

A reason to check, not a confirmed credit.

A higher invoiced price with one exact, effective agreed-price match can produce a review candidate. Missing agreed prices, mismatched packs or units, and missing or overlapping effective prices need review; the auditor does not guess a match.

Totals stay separate for USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD. There is no currency conversion or combined cross-currency total.

A price-history or cross-location difference is a prompt to check, not an overcharge: delivery, discount and contract terms are unknown to the comparison.

You can optionally request a supplier question. It is a draft marked UNSENT, for you to check and send yourself. Nothing is sent automatically. In credit records, “requested” is your own record that you asked the supplier.

In credit records, an issued credit is not realized cash. Only applied credit, refunds and direct cash, net of reversals, count as realized. Each invoice line carries one claim, the claim amount is recalculated from the line, and a reference already recorded with a different amount or date is rejected rather than counted twice.

Candidates are not recovered funds. Findings use only your current request and are unverified. Check original invoices, agreements and any relevant credits before acting. No variance does not prove that an invoice is correct.

What happens to your data.

Invoice inputs and results. The application processes the files, rows, price history, agreed prices and credit records supplied for the current request. It does not intentionally persist those inputs or results or log their bodies. Results, including updated credit records, are returned to the requesting client. Lavu does not use these inputs for advertising, marketing or model training; see the auditor Terms.

Document processing. The public ChatGPT app does not receive files. When you attach a file in ChatGPT, ChatGPT reads it under OpenAI’s policies; the app receives only the rows you confirm, the prices and history you supply, and complete portable credit records, in which any existing proof reference is handled as text only. Files you upload on the free web check on this site are processed on Marty’s server for the current request only. Extraction runs in a separate, resource-limited process on the same server; a temporary working copy is deleted when extraction finishes, and the service overwrites its file buffers after use. No external OCR or document-processing service receives the file.

Security metadata. To limit abusive traffic, the service keeps a request counter and a window-reset timestamp keyed by the socket peer IP address (or an “unknown” fallback). Behind a proxy, this may be the proxy address rather than your individual address. These counters contain no invoice rows or audit results and live only in the serving process’s memory, with at most 2,048 peer entries per service instance.

The rate window is 60 seconds. Expired counters are removed lazily when a later request reaches the rate-limit check; there is no timed deletion job. If no such request arrives, expired entries can remain until another check or process termination. Process termination discards this in-memory state. The rate window is not a guaranteed deletion deadline.

Third-party handling. This service is hosted on Replit; ChatGPT/OpenAI handles your chat and tool interaction. See Replit’s Privacy Policy and OpenAI’s Privacy Policy. Their processing and retention depend on their policies and applicable settings. Lavu’s statements on this page, including the auditor Terms, do not describe or govern Replit’s or OpenAI’s handling.

Replit’s deployment monitoring documentation states: “Replit retains deployment logs for 30 days.” That statement covers deployment logs only. The same page describes request monitoring, including unique IP addresses, HTTP statuses and request durations, but states no retention period for that monitoring data. We have not verified other hosting-level telemetry, this deployment’s retention settings or OpenAI’s retention for this service. Application-level handling is not an infrastructure-wide zero-retention promise.

Share only information you are authorized to use and the minimum needed for the comparison. Remove unnecessary personal information, credentials and payment details.

This informational page contains no tracking scripts, external fonts or other fetched resources. See the auditor Terms on this page, and the existing Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the broader Lavu terms and privacy practices.

For privacy questions, contact privacy@lavu.com. The existing Privacy Policy, “Your Choices Regarding Your Information” describes browser cookie controls and requests for deletion, correction, a copy of personal information or stopping its processing. These are requests under that policy, not a promise to erase third-party records or a guaranteed deletion deadline.

The free web check on this site.

The free invoice price check on this website is a separate page from the ChatGPT app. It compares one invoice with prices you enter or with an earlier invoice you add. The ChatGPT app currently installed is the original version, which compares rows you type in with agreed prices you supply.

Marty Invoice Auditor Terms

Marty Invoice Auditor is provided by Lavu, Inc. at no charge. No Marty account, payment method, paid subscription, minimum term or automatic renewal is required to use this tool. Using it does not enroll you in another Marty or Lavu product. You may use this tool to review invoices for your own business, but not to resell the tool.

Invoice and agreed-price inputs are processed to answer your request. Lavu does not use these inputs for advertising, marketing or model training. The auditor-specific privacy notice explains processing, retention and service providers.

For this tool only, these statements control if the general Lavu Terms conflict on account requirements, fees, subscription periods, renewal, permitted business use or permitted use of invoice and agreed-price inputs. All other general Lavu Terms remain unchanged.
